Mahaparinivahan Din Speech In Marathi

Mahaparinivahan Din Speech In English
Speech 1

Hello everyone, honourable guests present on the stage, my esteemed teachers and my dear friends, we all  know why we have gathered here today ?…. Exactly , today, 6th December  is the day of Mahaparinirvana of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Today I am going to express my view on Mahaparinirvahan din . It is my humble request that you listen calmly …….

Babasaheb Ambedkar, popularly known as Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, is said to be the father of the Indian Constitution. Ambedkar, the fourteenth child of his Dalit parents, was a resident of Ratnagiri in the state of Maharashtra. Ambedkar’s family lived in Ambawade village in Ratnagiri district, so his last name was Ambavadekar. His father was in the British Army. Ambedkar’s teachers were Brahmins. His last name was Ambedkar but Babasaheb was his favorite disciple of that Brahmin teacher so he changed Babasaheb’s last name from Ambavadekar to Ambedkar. That is why today we know Babasaheb Ambedkar as Babasaheb Ambedkar. They were segregated as untouchables and as they were not allowed to sit with other students in the classroom, Babasaheb used to sit next to the class and study. Ambedkar was very clever. He was the only Dalit student to get admission in Elphinstone High School. All these factors forced them to fight against casteism and untouchability as they only had to face pain from the upper caste students and the society.
In 1935, he was appointed as the Principal of Government Law College, Mumbai. He published the book “Elimination of Caste” in which he vigorously fought against the existing caste system and discrimination in India. BR Ambedkar was the first law minister of independent India. He wrote the first constitution of India. Which gives Indians the idea of security and safety, religion, freedom, abolition of untouchability etc.
The Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26 November. He later converted to Buddhism along with his followers. He is known for his work as a lawyer, economist, politician and professor.
He breathed his last on December 6, 1955. Therefore, this day is celebrated all over the country as Mahaparinirvana Day. A public holiday has been declared in all the countries on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti.
I would like to tell you that we too, like Babasaheb Ambedkar, should raise our voice against the social injustice in the society and should not tolerate any injustice. Because Babasaheb believes that “live like a tiger one day rather than live like a goat for a hundred days”

Jai Bhim Jai Maharashtra

Mahaparinivahan Din Speech In English

Today is December 6, 2021, the 66th Mahaparinirvana Day of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Babasaheb was such a personality that no one has ever been equal to him and never will be. They are revered by us for the work they have done, for their sacrifices; They are still our inspiration today. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s work and name will remain immortal.

Babasaheb worked hard at the beginning of his life and endured a lot of injustice. They faced many difficulties. He started an excluded welfare meeting for his community, because he wanted to awaken the identity of his dormant society.

If today’s young generation is asked who is your role model, who will name a Bollywood actor and who will name a cricketer. The new generation does not even know the biography of Ambedkar, but how will they become his role models? Even if we experience one percent of Babasaheb’s teachings in life, our life will be happy. There is so much to learn from their hard work and dedication, celebrities or players will surely fall short of it.

We have gathered here today on the occasion of the 63rd Mahaparinirvana Day of Babasaheb. Babasaheb spent his life for you and you can’t do so much for him?

I hope that from today we will all try to follow the path shown by Babasaheb. Let’s take advantage of the fact that that eternal light has illuminated the path of our life, let’s move forward, let’s make progress; Let’s make our society, our country great. I think Babasaheb wanted us to see him develop; We have been backward for hundreds of years, we have been wronged but Babasaheb has given us equal rights. Now it is our responsibility to go ahead and fulfill Babasaheb’s dream.

I conclude today’s speech by bowing to such a great person and wishing that his blessings remain with me forever. Jai Bhim, Jai Hind.

Mahaparinivahan Din Speech In Marathi |

What is Mahaparinirvahan Din |

According to Buddhism, Mahaparinirvana is the main focus and basic principle of life. In Sanskrit, Mahaparinirvana is written as “Parinibana”, which literally means “salvation”. “Karma” means the deeds we have done, according to Buddhism we accumulate our deeds throughout our life and it reaches the next birth through the soul. When a person dies and his body disintegrates but the journey of the soul continues. At the time of one’s death, if the debt of one’s karma is not accumulated, then that soul escapes from the cycle of birth and death, that is, one gets salvation; This is called Mahaparinirvana in Buddhism.
According to the Buddhist holy text Mahaparinirvana Sutta, the death of Lord Buddha is known as the original Mahaparinirvana. Babasaheb Ambedkar died on December 6, 1956 in Delhi. Babasaheb had converted to Buddhism on October 14, 1956 with 500,000 followers. His remains were cremated at Dadar Chowpatty in Mumbai according to Buddhist rites. That place is now called Chaityabhoomi. People in the Buddhist community in India call Ambedkar a Buddhist guru.
Followers of Buddhism feel that Babasaheb’s work for the Dalits has freed them from the karma of this life and that is why after their death they have escaped the cycle of birth and death, that is, they have attained Moksha, that is, they have attained Mahaparinirvana.
